AVID Contest

I want to congratulate Jefferson and the gang here at Real Media for their entry into the AVID commercial contest.  Their entry called The Pitch is listed as a featured spot in the contest.  If you get a chance, click on the link and check it out.  I know they would love for you to comment and vote as well.  The spot was put together in about 2 hours the day before Christmas vacation.  Great job Jazzy!

K-State Football Texas Bowl Update

Real Media would like congratulate the Kansas State Football Program on their great season and wish them good luck in the Texas Bowl against Rutgers on December 28th.  K-state contacted us on December 15th and ask us to update their current open to reflect their invitation to the Texas Bowl.  You can view the full open on realmedia.com in the portfolio/sports section.  We made several updates to the open including changing out highlights, billboards road signs and the Rutgers helmet.  We also cut the open down to 1:35 to meet the time requirements for the pre-game festivities.  We wish the Cats and Coach Prince good luck! Go Cats!

Tim Hortons Hockey Promo Spots

Real Media recently finished two promotions for Tim Hortons coffee. The Columbus Bluejackets Stick Kid of the Game and the Buffalo Sabres Timbits Skate.  Both spots feature the animated Tim Hortons cup playing hockey in a 3D arena.  The Stick Kid spot features the cup skating and shooting a slap shot to score a goal.  The Timbits Skate promo features a group of small cups skating in the arena.  The spots also incorporate animated donuts cheering the cups on.  The animated cups, donuts and arena were all created in 3D studio MAX and composited in Adobe After effects.  Sound effects, music and finishing were completed on AVID Adrenaline.  The spots are quickly becoming a fan favorite.

University of Oklahoma Basketball

University of Oklahoma Athletics has contracted with Real Media to create the 2006 Men’s and Women’s basketball opens. We created the opens with highlight footage from the beginning of the 2006 season as well as highlights from last season. The new opens feature 3D animation, rotoscoping, animated overlays and composited effects.  The opens are already getting rave reviews.  We are proud to have Oklahoma University as a new client and are looking forward to more opportunities to serve them.
