Real Media recently completed a project for author Julie Garwood. The project is a book trailer to help promote her new book "Fire and Ice". The project brought several challenges. We had to create environments that were impossible to shoot in. Our VFX team created arctic environments, scenes in downtown Chicago and elaborate urban scenes. We did this with compositing, 3D design and camera tracking techniques.
Here are some the original shots and the final composites.

Very nice! So is the trailer done? Sorry if I missed a link. I'm an author editing my own book trailer and am doing some compositing to make a Kansas landscape look like SE Asia. Fun stuff!
